About:

I’m an enthusiastic and engaged events and marketing professional with a can-do attitude, a proactive, hands-on approach and a drive to make a difference. Through a number of diverse roles, I’ve proven myself as a resourceful, innovative thinker with a self-focused, professional mindset and an ability to find creative solutions to problems. I’m a punctual and articulate communicator and am able to think creatively, foster relationships and pull together resources to get things done.

In all my undertakings, I’ve particularly relished opportunities which allow me to challenge myself in fast-paced environments which test my initiative under pressure. I enjoy being part of or leading multidisciplinary teams of any size and am as comfortable in customer/client-facing positions as I am working behind the scenes. I bring energy, commitment and a desire to learn and can be relied upon to be decisive and seize the initiative.

I’m looking for freelance/contract work in festivals and live events (particularly music and outdoors) and am interested in various roles including event/zone/site management, staff/volunteer management, stage management and artist liaison management.

INTERESTS
I have an avid and active interest in sustainability, accessibility, politics and charity and spend my free time playing guitar and learning Gaelic. In addition, I take part in various competitive and non-competitive sporting activities, including mountain biking, running, rowing, sailing and skiing.
