Work History:
Tesco: October 2017 – January 2018
Employed as a Christmas temp retail worker, I worked on the counters, serving cold and hot meals, along with cheeses. My role included a lot of handling, therefore gloves, an apron and a hat needed to be worn at all times around the food.
Most shifts were a steady pace, however on the busier shifts I adapted to work well in a fast pace. On top of this, it was important to greet customers with a smile, while taking time to listen to what they want. Based on their order, I would make decisions right for the customer, while being passionate and knowledgeable about the products.

Costa Coffee: May 2018 – January 2019
While working as a Barista, I had to maintain excellent customer relations and to constantly strive to improve customer service in line with departmental policy. Operating cash registers and preparing food and beverages in line with the regulations and procedures were vital. I had to work within EHO, COSHH and Health and Safety Guidelines, while completing daily cleaning schedules and duties. Maintaining a high standard of personal hygiene was a must, while working in a clean and tidy manner.
Operating dish washers, coffee machines and ovens were necessary during every sift. Making sure to use the correctly and if there were any issues, to report it immediately or ask for help.

First Direct Arena, Leeds: November 2018 – March 2019
The key responsibilities working as an F&B assistant, was to support the smooth running of the food & beverage department, where all aspects of the guest food & beverage service experience are delivered to the highest levels.
I was required to work as part of a team, while delivering a positive and timely response to guest enquiries, while taking responsibility for my duties and tasks, making sure they are delivered positive and timely. It was important for me to build and maintain an effective working relationship whilst promoting the company culture and values.
