A Masters graduate specialising in sports with a proven track record of assisting companies achieve their goals. This includes extensive academic and practical work within the events, charity, marketing, and social media industry, obtaining a high-level role overseas with a globally recognised organisation. GWD - Marketing Coordinator (June 2020 – August 2020)
Obtained through a rigorous recruitment process, this internship, based at home during Coronavirus, involved propelling a new product into an existing market, whilst drawing up and delivering a marketing plan.
Responsibilities and Achievements:
• Creating elaborative reports based on vigorous competitor research analysis.
• Re-design the company website.
• Leading on research duties for marketing strategies, including budget disposition.
• Initiating a brand-new blog to increase traffic to the website as part of the marketing plan.
• Lead on the company advertising campaign, utilising a set budget.
• Preparation for company events such as national exhibition within the field.

NCS - Team Leader (May 2019 – September 2019)
Leading two teams to plan, deliver, and evaluate a social action project for a Hertfordshire charity.
Responsibilities and Achievements:
• Ensuring integrity whilst project leading a team to deliver self-set objectives.
• Initiate problem-solving skills when members of the team proposed a query or problem.
• Ensuring the events planned were delivered to a high degree.
• Raised over £1,200 for charity within the space of five days, having delivered a professional, well-executed project.
• Received an individual “star wave leader” award for the first Hertford group.

Active Summer Camps – Event Management Trainee (March 2019 – April 2019)
Project lead a start-up event, liaising with sponsors, businesses, and suppliers as well as self-recruiting, and leading, 25 volunteers.
Responsibilities and Achievements:
• To negotiate with businesses and sponsors via face-to-face contact as well as telephone, upselling the event.
• To create an engaging job advert for volunteers, before recruiting, briefing, and leading the team to ensure authentication, and professionalism prevailed for the firms first event.
• Deliver a comprehensive marketing plan, which reached over 8,000 people within a 5-day period.
• Professionally represent the firm at meetings with stakeholders such as the venue, and local council, whilst creating minutes and follow up leads for the event.
• The event turned over a profit, signified by the local media providing excellent reports for future events.

International Paralympic Committee - Social Media Moderator (March 2018 – April 2018)                       
Having been recruited through an extremely competitive application process, I obtained a role in Bonn, Germany to cover the 2018 Winter Paralympics, assisting the IPC with their most successful Games in history in terms of reach, and engagement.
Responsibilities and Achievements:
• To create insightful, and engaging posts for the Paralympic social media channels with over 245,000 followers.
• Meeting and managing multiple strict deadlines in an extremely fast paced working environment, including various types of media production channels.
• Responding to viewers on social media in an engaging and collaborative way to align with Paralympic values.
• Ensuring the Winter Paralympics reached, engaged, and shared by the largest amount of people in their history.

Other roles include Research Assistant, Call Centre Operative, Student Ambassador, Education Assistant, Steward, Warehouse Operative, and Commercial Services Assistant.


Voluntary Experience

• Tokyo 2020 Olympics Accredited Staff – Field Cast Member to work within the media and press operations at the Olympics in the aquatic centre.
• BUCS Nationals (2019) - Event experience in the largest multi-sport event in the country. I was working within the event management team.
• Football Collective Conference (2019) - I was reporting on the annual Football Collective Conference at Sheffield United FC, leading social media work on behalf of the Collective.
• Steel Beats Music (2019) – I have set up and run a music event which has raised over £1000 for charity.
• The Last Virtual Night In (2021) – Creating a virtual event for a student demographic in April 2021, utilising games, live music and competitions in aid of charity.
